It has been said “not everything that is learned is contained in books.” Compare and contrast knowledge gained from experience with knowledge gained from books. In your opinion, which source is more important? Why?

 

 

Of course, both experience and books are important.

But I have an opinion that experience is more important than books.

There are some reasons why I support this opinion..

 

First, only the person who experienced something can write books.

They experienced from travel, love or study. After that, they learned lessons and get knowledge about many things that they did not know before.

Consequently, the person who experienced can write the books.

Books are result of experience.

 

Secondly, ‘indirectly experience’ and ‘directly experience’ are different.

If I ask to other people, ‘which one do you prefer indirectly experience or directly experience?’

Maybe most of people will answer ‘directly experience’.

For example, ‘pictures’ and ‘admire the landscape’ are different.

 

Because of these reasons, I think experience is more important than books.
