Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?

Parents are the best teachers.

Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer

 

 

 

I disagree with the statement, Parents are the best teachers.

There are some reasons why I think so.

 

In my opinion, parents are not always the best teachers.

Parents can be a ‘good teachers’, but not always ‘best teachers’.

 

I think it differs by cases.

 

First case, ‘Parents are the best teachers’.

Parents are the first people who baby meet at first. In infancy, a baby spends most of time with their parents and imitates the behavior of their parents.

When they are teenagers, parents are still the best teachers.

In this case, If children learned a lot from their parents, parents can be the best teacher.

Also parents can be good mentors.

 

 

Second case, ‘Parents are the good teachers, but not the best’.

The parents are good teachers for children. Children learn a lot of things from their parents.

But, they also learn many things from other people.

For example, school teacher, bestseller writer or friend.

In this case, children can learn more from other people than parents.

So, parents can good teachers, but not the best.

 

 

Third case, ‘Parents are not good teachers.’

For example, parents do not care for their children.

 

 

These three reasons are examples to support my answer.

I disagree to ‘Parents are good teacher’ and I think parents are not always good teachers.
